-
Worth the Price
This is a good value family hotel. If you are more interested in its location and the fact that it is right on the beach rather than any luxury to be found inside, then this is your type of place.
-
Service Quality
Friendly service from local staff. Do not expect five-star perfection, just friendliness and willingness to help.
-
Location
Its location is by far its best asset. The hotel sits right on what is known as “Primera Ensenada” or Punta de Piedra beach-the finest stretch in Coveñas.
-
Area Vibe
Surrounded by a combination of other vacation cabins and small stores, this is more a lively public beach area than some secluded private resort.
-
Overall Cleanliness
Adequate. The rooms are swept; linen changed-but given the rustic nature of the place, sand is everywhere.
-
Breakfast Quality
Food experience real. Breakfasts simple (arepas, eggs)-lunch fish fresh though options can get repetitive.
-
Bed & Pillows
Rooms are functional, sometimes having an extra feature of air conditioning and television set but with dated furniture and basic mattresses.
-
Wi-Fi Speed
Wi-Fi works here however not too well most of the time; this is where you forget about the internet and remember the sea.
-
Facility Freshness
It follows the traditional Colombian coastal cabaña style- bright colors, open spaces, simplicity. Tropical environment.
-
Quietness Level
Sleep is something to comment on since while the wave’s sound is so pleasant and luckily we did not have any strong beach party music there or neighbor’s music, that possibility remains a reality in Coveñas.
-
Long-Term Friendly
It is a good option for a three to four-day family vacation plan focused on bathing and excursions to the islands.
-
Parking Convenience
It has free on-site parking, which is quite actually very important since most people come by car from some inland city.
